Generation IV Dance (G4) is a week of action-packed non-stop dancing and fun, with an impressive faculty comprised of over 20 of today’s top choreographers and dance professionals. Dancers also perform with the faculty in three live sell-out shows at the gorgeous Academy of Music Theatre.

  • Dancers take classes in hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet, modern, tap, ballroom, musical theater, yoga, conditioning, and more.

  • The fully chaperoned G4 Dorm Experience* enables dancers to live on campus for the week with room and board provided. *There is an additional cost for the G4 Dorm Experience and some restrictions apply.

  • Dancers participating in the Pre-Intensive Workshop (see above) will be in an additional piece (opening number)

  • The only other option for being in an extra piece is for 14 and over advanced tap dancers who are chosen by audition on Sunday night

  • The faculty may reserve the right to occasionally request particular dancers to carry out a theme, etc., and this may result in a small handful of dancers being in more than two numbers. There are also sometimes specialty numbers that only specifically trained dancers can participate in (such as ballroom). These dancers are allowed to be in another number in a style of their choosing.

The following is a list of clothing items to have on hand. Keep in mind that dancers are selected for one dance with the exception of older dancers being selected for two. Those traveling in who may not have a particular item needed, no worries at all, we will borrow from other dancers, as we realize this is an extensive list to pack.
